第８回岡山・倉敷大会、ゲスト講演者のナハマノヴィッチさんから、講演「即興することは生きることである」の要旨が届きました。
Improvising is Life:
As improvisers, we learn to think as nature thinks.
Every act of our ordinary life reflects our capacity to create, improvise, and co-evolve with others. When we create art, we make these capacities visible. Health, welfare, our relationship to the biological ecology in which we live, are all implicated in these simple acts of creativity.
To improvise is to find form in the air before us.
To improvise is to work with the limitations we are given.
We find form, unexpectedly, right in front of us, as we do the supposedly mundane things of everyday life. Receptiveness is the whole of art.
The lecture will merge into a live experiential workshop. If you have a musical instrument, please bring it. If you don’t have a musical instrument, please bring yourself. Musicians and non-musicians will be able to participate as equals.
即興することは生きることである。
インプロヴァイザーであることは、自然が考えるように考えることを学ぶことです。
私たちの普通の生活のどの行動をとっても、創造し、即興し、他者と共進化する力を反映しています。芸術を創造するということは、こういった力を目に見えるものにするということです。健康、幸福そして私たちが生きている生物的エコロジーに関連したことは、すべてこの単純な形の創造的な行動とつながっているのです。
即興することとは、目の前の空気に何かを見出すことです。
即興することは、私たちにあたえられた限界とともにものごとを行なうことです。
私たちは、おそらく日常生活のありふれたものごとをやるのと同じように、自分のすぐ前に思いがけないものを発見します。芸術というものを成り立たせているのは、受け入れることなのです。
この講演は、生きた経験的なワークショップへとなってゆきます。もし楽器を持っていれば、持ってきてください。もし楽器がなければ、からだ一つでも結構です。音楽家もそうでないひとも、平等です。
